Long overdue

Unfortunately or Fortunately, however u see it, I am still working on this painting. It has been six months maybe longer. I cannot decide if it is even worth it anymore. The background was intended to be white but due to a leak in my studio roof I then had to cover up a big brown stain. This is a map of my birthplace, Livermore, CA. During my frustrations I also made the below doodle.

I am working on these quilted-net drawings while I am working on the mapping series. They are tedious but very rhythmical and I enjoy doing them.
